Worn Flashing

Flashing is comprised of thin strips of material, usually made of metal, that protect the most vulnerable parts of sloped roofs, such as roof edges and valleys. A completely worn-out flashing is a leak hazard, as without a proper moisture barrier, anything that penetrates the roof will eventually find its way to the latter's delicate innards.
