West Side Roofing Makes Getting a New Roof Easy and Stress-Free

At West Side Roofing, we want to make getting a new roof or repairing your roof as convenient and stress-free as possible for you. At this point, you have probably already signed on with us to get your new roof, but we wanted to take the time to give you more information on what to expect from this project!

Before You Get Your New Roof

One of the main things we do once we have a signed contract is to get all of the paperwork and background permissions. This consists of getting the roofing permit through the city, looking over your contract with us and making sure that you know what you are getting and that it is going to be what you want. 

Picking Your Shingle Colors

Then we need to get all the materials and the color choice is totally up to you. To make that process easier, we can drop off sample boards, or you could tell us the addresses of other homes in your area, and we can usually match those up pretty well — anything we could do to kind of help that process out.

We offer a variety of shingles from color to grade, including GAF Timberline Shingles, perfect for our harsh Ohio weather, especially in the winter! 

Communication is Key

We like to keep you updated as we work through the process. Communication is extremely important whether it's an e-mail, phone calls, texts, whatever is best for you. 

We usually will give you a call at least a week before the project start date letting you know we're almost ready to get started. And even the morning of, we touch base with you to see what schedule what works best for you that day.

How Long Does a New Roof Take?

On a typical day, we start at about 8:00 in the morning. A typical roof usually takes one to two days, depending on the size of the job and the complexity.

The materials are delivered to your home the same day as the start of the project, but again, if anything was to change and we needed it delivered earlier, we always keep you in the loop and make sure that everything will work out for you.

After You Get Your New Roof

We have a great cleanup process that we do afterward with an equipter. Then we do a final once over after the project is done just make sure that all the T's are crossed, and we're good to go.
