Spotting Storm Damage

January 30, 2023

Storms are a nightmare for a roof, and there are many ways a storm can damage a house’s roof. They can range anywhere from minor shingle removal to entire roof being destroyed.

What to Look For

To gauge the degree of damage your roof may have suffered, there are a couple of ways you can spot the damage after the storm so that you can decide what the next steps may be.

It is always recommended to do a quick walk around your home after the storm has concluded. Doing so will help you spot anything which may be standing out, such as any sort of roofing material on the ground.

Another thing to look out for is the storm chasers. These refer to many roof insurance companies which may take advantage of the storm damage done to your roof.

It is recommended not to call or initiate any sort of conversation with them as it may be detrimental to your finances.

Don’t Get Taken Advantage of by Storm Chasers! Call Us!

It is always advised to stay away from such storm chasers and roofing insurance companies rather than contacting them.

It is recommended that you get in touch with the professionals here at West Side Roofing, who can provide you with the best solution to your problems.

The only hiccup was ,after I went to their office and paid in full with a cashier check.Days later I received a e mail asking for payment. I never received a apology for this!

They were prompt , very professional, cleaned up using a magnetic device so they didn’t leave a single nail behind. Even hung my plants back up for me without my asking !!!
