In this week’s blog, we are sharing one of our more recent, more in-depth projects with a condo complex roof.
The maintenance personnel of this condo complex reached out to us because he could not figure out why the roof was leaking into one of their buildings.
We were able to visit the site and tell what was wrong and fix it!
Long story short, there were multiple issues contributing to the leaks. This involved the roofing around the chimney, the chimney cap, and the siding of the unit.
We fabricated a new aluminum cap at the top of the chimney, installed proper underlayment to prevent future leaks, and replace the shingles and siding on the chimney.

The underlayment is an ice and water shield, which is essential in Northeast Ohio. With the rain and snowstorms we experience, having a proper underlayment will help protect your home or business from leaks.
