In the example in the video, the issue was old, rotting wood that suffered a lot of water damage. In order to repair this, we replace the wood and add in all of the necessary protection, such as a layer of ice and water shield followed by flashing and a silicone caulk. Then we finish the project with a new layer of shingles that match your current shingles.

What is Flashing?
Aluminum flashing is a material that we put around the chimney for an extra layer of leak prevention. The flashing is custom-fabricated onsite by our guys, so it fits your chimney perfectly!
