Installing skylights is no easy task. But we always make sure to get the job done right the first time around. Over the years, we have done numerous skylight installations and worked with various roofs and homes.

A Tough Job Done Right 

When talking about skylights, one story that comes to mind is a recent job we completed. West Side Roofing was able to work with a client who already had one skylight and was looking to install a few more on their roof. 

Due to the roof being 3.5 stories high, the safety and completion of the job were difficult. The client wanted solar-powered skylights with blinds that would open and close. After meeting with the client and inspecting the roof, our crew began working on the project. 

We had to remove the shingles around the areas where we installed the skylights to begin the carpentry work. We did so carefully so that once the framing was complete, we'd be able to pout back the shingles without damaging them. 

Once the project was complete, we gave the client exactly what they wanted with some added features, such as a remote that controlled all three skylights and the blinds with the click of a button. Although the project was a challenge, we welcomed it with open arms. We kept the customer satisfied while keeping our crew members safe.
